The "Helsinki On Broadway Sunday Cabaret Series" begins 7 PM in Hudson, NY, with Tony Award winner Faith Prince (Guys and Dolls, A Catered Affair) and Jason Graae (Falsettos, The Grand Tour) in The Prince and the Showboy, with music director Alex Rybeck. Their appearance is on the heels of a run of the show at 54 Below in midtown Manhattan.
Alan Cumming, Ann Hampton Callaway, Charles Busch, Liz Callaway, Brent Barrett and Dee Hoty are lined up for late-summer and fall gigs in the series.
The appearances are presented by Club Helsinki Hudson in association with Showstoppers New York.
In addition to it being prized as an entertainment destination, Helsinki Hudson is embraced for its fine cuisine using locally grown, organic food — fresh greens, local cheeses, Hudson Valley protein. Chef Hugh Horner oversees the menu.
In the opening attraction, Prince and Graae sing their most requested Broadway tunes (and more). It also features a tribute to Broadway composer Jerry Herman (Hello, Dolly!; Mame).
Dinner reservations can be made at 5 PM or 8:30 PM in The Restaurant, adjacent to The Club (which also serves food). For reservations, call (518) 828-4800. Helsinki Hudson is at 405 Columbia Street in Hudson, NY. Visit helsinkihudson.com.
