The Buck Hill Skytop Music Festival, a summer concert series dedicated to bringing artists “up close and musical” to its audiences in the Pocono Mountains, will hold its seventh annual season July 29-August 7 at various locations in the Pocono region.

The festival will kick off July 29 at Pocono Mountain East High School with a concert featuring Broadway and West End veteran Alton Fitzgerald White (The Lion King, The Who’s Tommy), Tony Award winner Faith Prince (Guys and Dolls, Disaster!), Kerry Butler (Xanadu, Disaster!) and Drama Desk nominee Daniel Reichard (Jersey Boys). The four will be backed by a Broadway orchestra and will be conducted by the Festival’s artistic director, Joey Chancey (An American In Paris, Beautiful).

The first weekend of concerts will continue with a presentation by Lincoln Center’s The National Chorale, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana and the speakeasy stylings of The Hot Sardines. The second weekend will include chamber music of The Harlem Quartet and the world premiere of Catch the Wind, a new musical by Daniel Larson and Michelle Elliot.

The Buck Hill Skytop Music Festival will conclude with Tony Yazbeck’s cabaret show The Floor Above Me.
