The 8 PM evening, which benefits New York’s Ali Forney Center, welcomes Feldshuh (Irena's Vow, Golda's Balcony) back as host for the third year. The fundraiser is conceived by Jeffery Self and directed by Ryan J. Davis. The Broadway Beauty Pageant features various male cast members from Broadway productions who compete in talent, interview and swimsuit categories. A celebrity panel of judges is present; however, the winner is determined by audience vote.
Tovah Feldshuh received Tony Award nominations for her work in Golda's Balcony, Yentl, Sarava and Lend Me a Tenor. Her theatre roles have also garnered the actress four Drama Desk Awards, four Outer Critics Circle Awards, an Obie and a Theatre World Award. Feldshuh's numerous screen credits include "Holocaust," "Kissing Jessica Stein," "The Lady in the Water" and "O Jerusalem."
