Producer Harvey Weinstein is taking his first Broadway musical venture nationwide. Finding Neverland, which has been a strong performer at the box office despite garnering a cool critical response, will launch a U.S. national tour in October 2016.

The tour will originate in Upstate New York and will be among the first productions to take advantage of the Upstate NY Theatrical Tax Incentive, which went into effect in January.

Set to launch Oct. 7, 2016, the tour is presented in association with Albert Nocciolino, president and CEO of NAC Entertainment.

Directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Hair), Finding Neverland has a book by Olivier Award nominee James Graham, music and lyrics by Gary Barlow and Grammy Award winner Eliot Kennedy, and choreography by Emmy Award winner Mia Michaels ("So You Think You Can Dance").

The production officially opened April 15 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Read reviews for the show here.
