News Footloose's Stacy Francis Advances to Next Round of "The X Factor" Stacy Francis, who starred as Rusty in the Broadway company of Footloose, survived the Nov. 3 elimination round and is now among the Top 11 Finalists of the new Fox singing competition, "The X Factor."

InTENsity, the group that Paula Abdul mentored, was eliminated from the competition Nov. 3.

The Top 11 Finalists, including Girls – Melanie Amaro, Rachel Crow and Drew; Boys – Astro, Marcus Canty and Chris Rene; Over 30s – LeRoy Bell, Stacy Francis and Josh Krajcik; and Groups – Lakoda Rayne and The Stereo Hogzz — will continue to battle it out for America’s votes when they perform live Nov. 9 at 8 PM ET on Fox.

The Nov. 10 at 8 PM ET live results show will also feature a special performance by Willow Smith.

At 15, Stacy Francis, who is now 42, made her Off-Broadway debut in Mama, I Want to Sing and later re-created her role opposite Chaka Kahn in the London production. Broadway audiences have seen Francis' work in Smokey Joe's Cafe, Street Corner Symphony and the aforementioned Footloose. She was also seen in the L.A. Reprise! concert version of Hair.
