In a recent interview with Playbill.com, Drama Desk nominee Block said that she and husband Arcelus "would love to do a show together. Of course, we have what would be our dream roles together, but no, we've not planned anything as of yet. Every time we ever sit down and think, 'Ah, this is going to be a time we can write something or look into,' the phone rings...and your life changes for the next six months. It's never something that you can plan, so every time we think we will have a breath to plan something as a couple, either he gets asked to do a fantastic project or like [Anything Goes], the phone rings and two weeks later you are doing something you never thought you were going to do."

And, what are Block and Arcelus' dream roles? "We always thought at one point he would play Tateh and I would be Mother in Ragtime. We just love the score so much, and as obnoxious as it might seem, when we're in the car, we like to sing that," Block laughs. "Can you picture us? Off in our Volvo singing the score of Ragtime!"

The musical based on the novel by E.L. Doctorow has a Tony Award-winning book by Terrence McNally and Tony-winning score by Lynn Ahrens (lyrics) and Stephen Flaherty (music).

Arcelus has been seen on Broadway in Elf-The Musical, Jersey Boys, Wicked, Good Vibrations and Rent as well as in the Off-Broadway production of Happiness.

Block, who made her Broadway debut as Liza Minnelli opposite the Peter Allen of Hugh Jackman, also portrayed Elphaba in the Broadway company of Wicked and Grace O'Malley in The Pirate Queen. She was also seen Off-Broadway in Meet Vera Stark, and her regional credits include Funny Girl, Crazy for You (L.A.
