The cast of the national tour of Fosse will perform at the 2000 Pageant of Peace Tree Lighting Ceremony in Washington DC, 5-6 PM Dec. 11.
President Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton are expected to attend the annual lighting of the national Christmas tree, at the President's Park, south of The White House.
The Fosse cast will be singing "Song of Old," an original composition by the company's musical director, Don York.
The performance features Fosse singer-dancers Reva Rice, April Nixon, Sarah Jayne Jensen, Laura Haney Gomez, James Kinney, Josef Pescetto and Rick Delancy.
Charlotte Church, Kathy Mattea and the Navy Band, among others, will also perform. The national tour of the Tony Award-winning Fosse — a celebration of the dances created by late director choreographer Bob Fosse — is at the National Theatre in DC through Dec. 31.
