News   Free "Holiday Songbook" Concert Set for Dec. 11
The Songbook Series — presented by Arts and Artists at St. Paul's — continues Dec. 11 with its 15th annual "Holiday Songbook" concert.

The free concert at the Donnell Library Theater will feature all-new holiday tunes penned by New York writers and performed by an array of Broadway and cabaret talent. Among those scheduled to lend their voices to the 2:30 PM event are Jill Abramovitz, Carla Arnone, Nina Alstrom, Kerri Bracken, Cassandra Cabinski, Isidore Elias, Chris Gunn, Lynnelle Johnson, Ben Moore, Kathy Morath, Karen Murphy, Michael Roberts, Adam Sansiveri, Stephan Stebbins, Scott Sussman, Cheryl Stern, Christianne Tisdale, Melanie Vaughn and Craig Wilson.

Concertgoers can expect to hear tunes by Ed Alstrom, Maxine Alstrom, Carla Arnone, Cassandra Cabinski, Michael Colby, Ryan Cunningham, Patrick Dwyer, Isidore Elias, Paul Fujimoto, Dick Gallagher, Hal Hackady, Marcy Heisler, John Kavanaugh, Randy Klein, Nick Levin, Ben Moore, Peter Morris, Michael Roberts, Josh Salzman, Michael Scheman, Steven Silverstein, Fred Stark, Cheryl Stern, Michael Stockler, Matt Ward and Craig Wilson.

John Znidarsic, the concert's producer and director, will host the afternoon event.

The Songbook series, now in its 15th year, presents "the newest music of Broadway in live performance by today's brightest talents." The works of Jason Robert Brown, Andrew Lippa, Gerard Alessandrini and John Bucchino have all been part of the acclaimed series.
