News Free Shakespeare Hits L.A.'s Point Fermin Park, July 23 LOS ANGELES -- Free performances of William Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors are set for San Pedro's Point Fermin Park, beginning July 23.

LOS ANGELES -- Free performances of William Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors are set for San Pedro's Point Fermin Park, beginning July 23. Comedy of Errors is a story of the comic misadventures of twin brothers separated at birth. After two decades of searching, one brother arrives in the town of his twin and cannot figure out why he is greeted by strangers who seem to know him.

The show is produced by Coffi, Courtney, Gotowicki Prods., in association with Los Angeles City Department of Recreation and Parks, Los Angeles City Councilman Rudy Svorinich Jr. and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Angels Gate Cultural Center.

Point Fermin Park is at 807 Paseo del Mar. The show runs July 23 to Aug. 8, with curtain at 8 PM. Patrons are encouraged to bring picnic baskets and blankets.
