Tony Award winner Betty Buckley, who will be seen later this summer in the Bay Street Theater production of the Tony-winning musical Grey Gardens, celebrates her birthday July 3. Buckley made her Broadway debut in 1969 in the original cast of 1776. Other credits include Pippin, Cats, Sunset Boulevard, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Carrie and Triumph of Love. She won a 1983 Tony Award for Cats.

She won a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella in the Broadway production of Cats, and she starred on the London stage in Promises, Promises and Sunset Boulevard, earning an Olivier Award nomination for her work in the latter.
