Producer Scott Rudin announced March 29 a special front-row rush ticket policy for the Broadway premiere of Lucas Hnath’s A Doll’s House, Part 2, which begins previews March 30 prior to an official opening April 27 at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street).

All seats in the first row will be priced at $30 each during previews only, available for purchase the day of the performance, in person at the Golden Theatre box office.

Directed by Tony Award winner Sam Gold, this new play picks up after Henrik Ibsen’s cherished work concludes. The cast features three-time Emmy Award winner Laurie Metcalf, Academy Award winner Chris Cooper, Tony Award winner Jayne Houdyshell, and Condola Rashad.

In the final scene of Ibsen's 1879 ground-breaking masterwork, Nora Helmer makes the shocking decision to leave her husband and children and begin a life on her own. In A Doll’s House, Part 2, according to press notes, “many years have passed since Nora’s exit. Now, there’s a knock on that same door. Nora has returned. But why? And what will it mean for those she left behind?”
