News "Frost/Nixon," "John Adams" and "Mad Men" On AFI's 2008 Top Ten Lists The American Film Institute has announced its selections for the top ten films and television programs that filled screens in 2008.

Peter Morgan's film adaptation of "Frost/Nixon" was listed among the top films of 2008. The remaining films include "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," "The Dark Night," Frozen River," "Gran Torino," "Iron Man," "Milk," "Wall-E," "Wendy and Lucy" and "The Wrestler." In television, AFI selected "Breaking Bread," "In Treatment," "John Adams," "Life," "Lost," "Mad Men," "The Office," "Recount," "The Shield" and "The Wire" as the best television programs of the year that's about to come to a close.
