Gay Marshall, who played a year-long run in the Off-Broadway revival of Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, will reprise her critically acclaimed Piaf tribute, Piaf: Queen of Heart, March 4, 11 and 18 at 7:30 PM. British stage star Clare Burt will make her New York cabaret debut at the Metropolitan Room with an evening that features the songs of Antonio Carlos Jobim, Jerry Herman, Kurt Weill and more; musical director is Nigel Lilley. Burt, who has appeared in London productions of Company, Nine, Into the Woods and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, will perform at the intimate venue March 9 at 7 PM, March 10 at 7:30 PM, March 11 at 9:45 PM, March 12 at 7 PM and March 13 at 7:30 PM.
Sharon McNight, who earned a Theatre World Award and a Tony nomination for her performance in Starmites, will return to the Metropolitan Room March 13 at 9:45 PM, March 14 at 9:30 PM, March 15 at 9:45 PM, March 19 at 9:45 PM, March 20 at 7:30 PM, March 21 at 7 PM and March 27 at 9:30 PM.
Penny Fuller, who made her Broadway debut in 1962 in the original play The Moon Besieged, is scheduled for two evenings at the Manhattan venue: March 15 and 22 at 7 PM. Fuller received Tony nominations for her work in Applause and The Dinner Party; her other Broadway credits include Barefoot in the Park, Cabaret, Rex and An American Daughter.
