News George Street God of Carnage, With Betsy Aidem, James Ludwig, Ann Harada, Opens May 13 The George Street Playhouse production of the Tony-winning God of Carnage officially opens May 13 at the New Jersey venue following previews that began May 10.

Yasmina Reza's play, featuring a translation by Christopher Hampton, will continue through June 5.

Directed by artistic director David Saint, the cast of confrontational parents comprises Betsy Aidem (Jolson Sings Again), Christopher Curry (Sight Unseen), James Ludwig (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) and Ann Harada (Avenue Q).

"I am so excited to be bringing this outrageous — and dare I say, explosive — comedy to the George Street stage," director Saint said in a previous statement. "In addition, I am truly fortunate to have such a talented cast to work with — they are sure to make this an unforgettable night in the theatre."

Creating the world of God of Carnage are scenic designer James Youmans, lighting designer Joe Saint, costume designer Michael McDonald and sound designer Christopher J. Bailey.
