Mark Bennett's score will be heard on the new disc, which is due in stores June 12. To celebrate the release of the CD, composer Bennett and Utopia cast members Martha Plimpton, David Pittu and Felicity LaFortune will make an appearance at the Barnes & Noble Lincoln Square that day. The June 12 event will begin at 5:30 PM.
"The Coast of Utopia" CD was produced by composer Bennett and Curtis Moore and features the score from all three parts of the Tom Stoppard trilogy, which was directed by Jack O'Brien.
The Coast of Utopia received 10 Tony Award nominations including Best Play, the most nominations ever received by a non-musical production.
