News Give Them a Hand: "There's Something About Puppets" Panel with Avenue Q Star Set for June 7 Puppets are the toast of the theatre season whether in Avenue Q, Little Shop of Horrors or The Long Christmas Ride Home. Now the employable and portable stars of the stage are discussed by the hands that feed into them at "There's Something About Puppets."

The panel discussion hosted by the Vineyard Theatre — the Off-Broadway home to both Avenue Q and The Long Christmas Ride Home — will take place June 7, at 7-8:30 PM.

Bread & Puppet Theater's John Bell will moderate a panel director Mark Brokaw (The Long Christmas Ride Home), puppet masters Stephen Kaplin ("Greenwich Village Halloween Parade") and Ralph Lee (Chinese Theatre Works), Avenue Q's Jennifer Barnhart and others to be announced.

"There's Something About Puppets" is for an invited audience with a limited number of free seats available to the public on a first-come-first-serve basis. Reservations can be made by calling (212) 353-3366 ext. 215 or via email at [email protected].
