The 3D film of the concert will play a limited two-week release in cinemas worldwide beginning Aug. 12. Kevin Tancharoen, who directed the remake of the hit film "Fame," will direct.
The tour and subsequent film will feature Lea Michele (Rachel), Corey Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike), Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Darren Criss (Blaine).
The tour will also include the Dalton Academy Warblers (who famously redid Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream") and actress Ashley Fink (Lauren Zizes).

The live event promises highlights from the first two seasons of "Glee," including such songs as "Empire State of Mind," "Toxic," "My Life Would Suck Without You," "It's My Life" and "Don't Stop Believin'."
