"Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy, who will also direct the tour, told EW.com that the "Glee" Live! tour will feature 15-18 songs and also a story. "We made a decision to do our biggest hits because that’s what fans want to see. It’s a concert tour but it also has a story in it," Murphy said. The plot will likely center on New Directions' competition with rival group Vocal Adrenaline. There is no word if Jonathan Groff (who guest stars as the leader of Vocal Adrenaline) will appear.

The live production will also feature a set designed by Lady Gaga's set designer, according to Murphy. Es Devlin rendered the dazzling video-infused white box set for Gaga's Monster Ball Tour. “It’s a huge stage. We’ve got multimedia. It’s really big. Fox believes in it so much that they’ve hired the best people," Murphy added.

The tour will feature such songs as "Don’t Stop Believin," "Somebody To Love," "Jump," "Don't Rain on My Parade" and "Sweet Caroline."

Murphy also stated that after the success of the all-Madonna episode, "Glee" may take a look at the pop hits of Britney Spears. "I’m interested in the Britney Spears idea," he said. "I’ve always loved her. I’m entertaining it. I think young kids would like that." Also up for consideration is the music of Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin and Courtney Love.

"Glee" Live! In Concert! tour dates follow: Phoenix, AZ (May 15-16 at the Dodge Theatre)
Chicago, IL (May 25-26 at the Rosemont Theatre)
Los Angeles, CA (May 20-22 at the Gibson Amphitheatre)
New York, NY (May 28-30 at Radio City Music Hall)

Appearing in the concerts will be Lea Michele (Rachel), Corey Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike) and Dijon Talton (Matt). Tony-nominated actor Matthew Morrison is not scheduled to participate.
