News Glover to Star in Classical Savion in November at NJPAC
Tap sensation Savion Glover will perform his newest show, Classical Savion, this fall at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.

The Tony-winning performer will offer his new evening of dance and music Nov. 18 at the Center's Prudential Hall. Backed by a ten-piece classical ensemble, Glover will lend his high-energy dance style to works by such composers as Stravinsky, Bach, Vivaldi, Bartok and Mendelssohn. Show time is 8 PM. Savion Glover made his Broadway debut in The Tap Dance Kid. He received a Tony Award for Best Choreography for Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk, which also brought him a Tony nomination for Best Actor in a Musical. Glover's other Broadway credits include Black and Blue (Tony nomination) and Jelly's Last Jam.
