The 2019 New York Musical Festival kicked off July 8 with a celebration at Sony Hall. The evening featured performances by Lauren Marcus and Gerard Canonico of Be More Chill and Eric William Morris of King Kong; Marcus sang a brand new tune by The Apple Boys composer Ben Bonnema, while the three together performed a new song by 2019 NYMF Honorary Chair and Be More Chill composer Joe Iconis.
