News Grandy, Abramovitz and Rayson Are Part of March 26 Marcy and Zina Show Adrift in Macao's Jonathan Rayson, Fame Becomes Me's Jill Abramovitz, Les Miz's Marya Grandy and cabaret favorite Scott Coulter will be among the special guests at the March 26 edition of the Marcy and Zina Show.

The 7 PM concert is being held at the famed jazz club Birdland on West 44th Street. Songwriters Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich will also be joined by cellist Peter Sachon as well as Mike Croiter on drums, Chris Sung on guitar and Matt Scharfglass on bass. The evening will feature Heisler and Goldrich standards as well as songs from their upcoming musical Ever After and the new revue Love Has Strings.

Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich were honored with the ASCAP Foundation Richard Rodgers New Horizons Theatre Award. They are also the recipients of several Bistro and MAC Awards, and their tunes have been embraced by Kristin Chenoweth (she performed their song "Taylor, the Latte Boy" on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show and at Carnegie Hall), Jekyll & Hyde's Christiane Noll (she recorded "Taylor" on her solo disc), Avenue Q's Ann Harada and John Tartaglia, Saturday Night Fever's Paige Price and Dance of the Vampires' Max von Essen. Their work is now available for all, courtesy of a 318-page tome — "Goldrich and Heisler: Songbook Volume 1" — that features 32 of their songs. They are also the authors of the musicals Junie B.
