News "Great Performances" to Air Memphis in February; Phantom of the Opera Unmasked in March The live film of the Tony Award-winning rock musical Memphis will be presented on PBS' "Great Performances" series Feb. 24, 2012.

Filmed live at the Shubert Theatre with the original Broadway cast, including Tony nominees Chad Kimball and Montego Glover, Memphis has a Tony-winning score by David Bryan and Joe DiPietro.

Upcoming "Great Performances" airings include Anna Deavere Smith's solo play about the U.S. healthcare system and the resilience of the human body, Let Me Down Easy (Jan. 13, 2012); as well as "Tony Bennett: Duets," featuring Lady Gaga, Josh Groban, k.d. lang, Queen Latifah, Carrie Underwood and more (Jan. 27, 2012).

The 25th anniversary performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera at London's Royal Albert Hall will air in March 2012.

Also planned is "The Thomashefskys," exploring the Yiddish theatre with Shuler Hensley, Michael Tilson Thomas and Judy Blazer (March 29, 2012); and Patrick Stewart, under Sam Mendes' direction, in the four-part miniseries The Divine Right, which incorporates Richard II, Henry IV Parts I & II and Henry V (summer/fall 2012).
