News Grollman Memorial Will Be Held Jan. 9 A memorial for actress Elaine Grollman will be held Jan. 9 at The Soho Playhouse.

All are welcome to pay tribute to the memorial for Grollman, which will begin at 7 PM. The Soho Playhouse is located in Manhattan at 15 Vandam Street, between Varick Street and Sixth Avenue. Grollman, who was born in October 1928 in the Bronx, made her Broadway debut in Yentl and also appeared in the national tour of Lost in Yonkers. She spent many years playing roles at the Folksbiene Yiddish Theatre and also appeared in the films "Untitled: A Love Story," "In America" and "The Purple Rose of Cairo." The actress died Nov. 17, 2005, in Bayside, NY.
