Hairspray's Shoshana Bean, who plays Shelley in the hit musical at the Neil Simon Theatre, will be Jeremy Schonfeld's special guest during an evening of his music at the Sh-K-Boom Room Nov. 25.

Singer-composer Schonfeld is currently working with Sh K-Boom Records to create a theatrical rock experience around his recording "Drift." One of two Schonfeld recordings — "Blue Skies and All," a retrospective of his music, is his other disc — "Drift" features songs about passionate relationships and their ultimate demise.

Schonfeld studied at both the Indiana University of Music and the Berklee College of Music and spent two years in the BMI Lehman-Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. He is currently developing Shakespeare and Our Planet, a concert of Stanley Silverman's original works for Lincoln Center. Schonfeld is also the owner of the new rock club Southpaw in Brooklyn, NY.

Sh-K-Boom Room concerts are held at The Cutting Room, which is located in New York City at 19 W. 24th Street (between Fifth and Sixth avenues). Tickets are available at the door and are priced at $10. Reservations can be made by e-mailing BoomRoom@sh-k boom.com.
