Sunday, Oct. 18: The Scottsboro Boys' Colman Domingo directs the New York City Children’s Theater production of A Band of Angels. Two performances of the family-friendly musical are staged at Joe's Pub. Tickets from $25; 3 PM & 9:30 PM. 

Monday, Oct. 19: Shana Farr returns to the Metropolitan Room with her award-winning show, In the Still of the Night, a concert celebrating the music and lyrics of Noël Coward and Cole Porter. The performer weaves scripted text, words, poetry and lyrics to create a spoken word/musical libretto. Tickets from $20; 7 PM. 

Broadway personality and SiriusXM Radio "On Broadway" host Julie James presents the final encore of her musical comedy show, The Julie James Show, at Feinstein’s/54 Below. James blends hilarious showbiz stories and songs to create a one-of-a-kind performance. Tickets from $30; 9:30 PM.

Tuesday, Oct. 20: Alexa Ray Joel, daughter of music legend Billy Joel, returns to Cafe Carlyle for a two-week engagement, performing original material by the singer-songwriter in addition to giving her signature style to a set of popular songs. Tickets $55; 8:45 PM. 

The cast of the original Broadway musical web series "The Battery's Down" unite on the stage at Joe's Pub with a celebration of songs from the show as well as a sneak peek of the upcoming reunion episode on Hulu. Tickets $20; 9:30 PM. 

Wednesday, Oct. 21: Tony nominee Kerry Butler, star of Xanadu, Rock of Ages, Hairspray and Catch Me If You Can, presents the last of her solo concerts at Feinstein's/54 Below, joined by Seth Rudetsky at the piano. Tickets $40; 11:30 PM. 

Thursday, Oct. 22: The new Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen Center for Thought and Culture presents Liaisons: Re-Imagining Sondheim, conceived and performed by concert pianist Anthony de Mare. The concert has brought together 36 of the world’s foremost contemporary composers from across the musical spectrum, inviting them to "re-imagine" one of Sondheim’s songs as a solo piano piece. Representing seven countries and 29 Grammy, Pulitzer, Tony, Academy and Emmy Awards, the composers include Steve Reich, Wynton Marsalis, Jason Robert Brown, Duncan Sheik and more. Tickets $35; 8 PM. 

Join host Ben D (seen on Broadway in Wicked, Aida and Footloose) for his weekly show Broadway Sessions at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Each week he welcomes a new Broadway star to the stage to perform in his musical theatre variety show. Tickets $15; 11 PM. 

Friday, Oct. 23: Aladdin's Kathryn Allison makes her solo concert debut at Feinstein's/54 Below with Sirens, Songs and Muses, celebrating her favorite female vocalists, from Bernadette Peters to Lady Gaga. Tickets $15; 11:30 PM.

Saturday, Oct. 24: Can't wait for the new James Bond film? Feed your excitement with The Losers Lounge Tribute to James Bond and the Music of John Barry, a night of music from the films at Joe's Pub. Martinis optional. Tickets $25; 2 PM, 6:30 PM & 9 PM. 

Hechter Ubarry brings his solo show Call Me Papo to the Duplex for one night only, chronicling the story of his life, growing up in Harlem and ending up on the Broadway stage. Tickets $20; 7 PM.
