Former Miss America Lee Meriwether stars with Bridget ("Here Comes the Bride") Hanley in the world premiere of Eugene Pack's Elinor Adjusting at Theatre West in L.A. The comedy opens June 10 for a four-week run, with Pack directing.

Hanley portrays Elinor, a widow who finds herself without a home or a business after her husband dies. She moves to a college town, working at a stop-gap job selling vitamins, and learning computer skills at the local university. Her goal is to land a good job with a major corporation, offered as a reward to the computer student with the highest level of achievement. Meriwether appears in a supporting role as Elinor's chum, Millie.

Others in the cast include Ellen Idelson, Steve O'Connor, Tom Dahlgren and Susan Morganstern.

Pack's previous plays include the solo shows Something Flexible With Meaning and The Senior. He also created the show In Their Own Words: Celebrity Autobiographies. A graduate of NYU, he has studied with Playwrights Horizon and David Mamet.
