Off-Broadway's Harbor Theatre recently opened "Harbor Currents 2001," an evening of seven one-acts by as many of the troupe's resident writers. The show began Oct. 24 and will run through Nov. 4.
The evening features: A Plague of Little Miracles written and directed by Stuart Warmflash; Next Please by Stephanie Lehmann, directed by Amanda Selwyn; Pop Goes the Weasel by Hank Meyerson, directed by Amanda Selwyn; Sex on the Beach written and directed by Jack Hyman; The Crystal Ball by Donna Spector, directed by Mark E. Lang; Tick Tock written and directed by Tony Howarth; and Touching Howard There by Garth Wingfield, directed by Laura Josepher.
The cast includes Michael Anderson, Ellen Barry, Heather Berman, Andy Dawson, Charlie Fersko, Marc Geller, Michael Gnat, Patricia Kelley, Christopher H. Matthews, Meghan Rafferty, Carolyn Seiff, Karin Sibrava, Georgia Southcotte, Fred Velde and Sy Young.
Past Harbor productions include Making Peter Pope by Edmund De Santis. That work, and Wingfield's Are We There Yet? were included in the 2000 play anthology "Plays and Playwrights for the New Millennium."
