The production, under the direction of Carolyn Cantor, marks the final offering of the season on Williamstown's Nikkos Stage. The play runs through Aug. 17. Joining Harris (Cry-Baby, Thoroughly Modern Millie) will be Nate Corddry (“Studio 60," True West), Maria Dizzia (eurydice), Dashiell Eaves (Coram Boy), Will Rogers (From Up Here) and Sarah Steele (Speech & Debate).
"In Not Waving, sun, sand and surf draw six people to a public beach with a troubled history," according to festival notes. "While relaxation and rejuvenation are the desired goal, the tides repeatedly take a breathtaking turn throughout this heartwarming play about the universal human need to be loved."
Designing the production are David Korins (set design), Jenny Mannis (costume design), David Weiner (lighting design) and Bart Fasbender (sound design).
