Renowned Hollywood costume designer Edith Head, cabaret singer Ann Hampton Callaway and the Reduced Shakespeare Company are all part of the 2001-02 season of Arizona's Invisible Theatre Company.

The Tucson theatre's seven-show season launches Sept. 11 with Ted Tally's Little Footsteps. The comedy, about interfaith marriage and parenting, runs through Sept. 30. It will be followed by the Reduced Shakespeare Company's The Complete History of America (Abridged), by Adam Long, Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor. From the group behind The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged), America chronicles 500 years of U.S. history, from Columbus to Clinton.

A.R. Gurney's Ancestral Voices runs Nov. 16-Dec. 9. The author's look at a Buffalo, NY, family in the 1930s and '40s, played at Lincoln Center in the 1999-2000 season. The world premiere of Sketches — Edith Head's Hollywood. kicks off 2002, playing Jan. 15-Feb. 3. Written by Paddy Calistro, Carol Calkins and Invisible managing artistic director Susan Claassen, the show looks at one of Hollywood's most prominent costume designers.

Tony-nominated singer Ann Hampton Callaway (Swing!) brings her tribute to jazz legends of the 20th century, Signature, to town March 8-9. Next up is Jeff Baron's Visiting Mr. Green, March 19-April 7, about two men forced together who ultimately find common ground.

The season concludes with the long-running Off-Broadway musical, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, with book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts. A look at the hassles and rewards of love and dating, it runs May 21-June 9. Season tickets are available for $145. Individual tickets range from $18 to $35. For tickets, call (520) 882-9721.
