TheaterWorks' associate artistic director Rob Ruggiero (OB's All Under Heaven) directs Edward Albee's Pulitzer Prize-winner Three Tall Women Jan. 15-Feb. 21, 1999 in Hartford, CT.

Women tells of an old woman who is tended to by two other woman as she dies and is visited by a silent young man. The look at three women at different stages of life also won the New York Drama Critics' Award, Outer Critic Circle Award, the Lucille Lortel Award and the Obie Award.

Ruggiero, who directed TheatreWorks' sold-out production of Full Gallop last October, was represented Off-Broadway in 1998 with the Valerie Harper one-woman biography of Pearl S. Buck, All Under Heaven. His Three Women are Lucille Patton (Woman A) and Kathleen Butler (Woman B), who appeared in the New York production of the play. Lisa Bostnar plays Woman C.

The design team includes Michael Schweikardt (set), John Wade (lighting) and Margaret Carbonneau (costumes).
