Enthusiastic reviews helped fuel an extension of the limited-run revival all the way to January 2012. Tony Award winner Sutton Foster plays nightclub singer Reno Sweeney in the 1934 confection about hijinks and romance on a transatlantic ocean liner. Foster, already a Tony winner for Thoroughly Modern Millie, was nominated as Best Actress in a Musical for her turn as Reno, singing some of Porter's best-known songs ("Anything Goes," "You're the Top," "Friendship," "I Get a Kick Out of You," "Blow, Gabriel, Blow").

The recording will be available for purchase at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 W. 43rd Street), online (http://sh-k-boom.com/anythinggoes.shtml) and digitally in late summer 2011. To submit a request to receive an email from Ghostlight when the CD is available to pre-order, visit http://sh-k-boom.com/anythinggoes.shtml.

This production's version of the score includes a few extra treats — the verse to the ballad "Goodbye, Little Dream, Goodbye" has been added, for example, and the dance arrangements (by David Chase) are new. In other words, don't expect an exact match of the 1988 Broadway cast album of the Lincoln Center Theater revival from which the new production plucks its script and score.

The score of Anything Goes includes "It's De-lovely," "Easy to Love," "All Through the Night," and more. Rob Fisher is the musical supervisor. James Lowe is the conductor/music director. Original 1987 orchestrations are by Michael Gibson; additional orchestrations by Bill Elliott.

Anything Goes is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. Anything Goes also stars Tony and Academy Award winner Joel Grey as Moonface Martin, Colin Donnell as Billy, Laura Osnes as Hope, Adam Godley as Evelyn (he was Tony-nominated for his work), John McMartin as Elisha Whitney, Jessica Walter as Evangeline Harcourt, Jessica Stone as Erma, Walter Charles as Captain, Robert Creighton as Purser, Andrew Cao as Luke, and Raymond J. Lee as John, with Clyde Alves, Ward Billeisen, Joyce Chittick, Nikki Renée Daniels, Margot De La Barre, Kimberly Fauré, Josh Franklin, Justin Greer, Daniel J. Edwards, Tari Kelly, Shina Ann Morris, Linda Mugleston, Kevin Munhall, Adam Perry, William Ryall, Jennifer Savelli, Anthony Wayne and Kristen Beth Williams.

This revised revival of the vintage musical (Timothy Crouse and John Weidman adapted the script in the 1980s) opened April 7 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre at 124 W. 43rd Street. It was originally scheduled to run through July 31.

Tony winner Foster is at home on the Ghostlight/Sh-K-Boom record labels. She is heard on its cast albums of Little Women and The Drowsy Chaperone and on the solo albums "Wish" and "An Evening with Sutton Foster – Live at the Café Carlyle."

The new Broadway cast recording of Anything Goes is made possible by The Areté Foundation, The Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation, Goldman Sachs Gives at the recommendation of R. Martin Chavez, Harry E. Gould, Jr., and David and Mary Solomon.
