The Nov. 20 performance — where Latin music and Broadway will unite — will be held at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill. As previously announced, Tony Award winner Chita Rivera and Oscar nominee Rosie Perez are scheduled to perform accompanied by a live Latin band. Newcomers to the one-night-only event include Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Allen Hidalgo, Wilson Cruz, Justina Machado, John Herrera, Natalie Toro, Saundra Santiago, Nilo Cruz, Doreen Montalvo and Tony Chiroldes as well as legendary Latin Ballroom stars Augie and Margo.
Grammy Award winner Ray Santos will orchestrate and conduct the evening's music. Richard Amaro will direct and choreograph the performance, which will "re-create a night at the historical Palladium during its heyday in the 1950s."
