From the same playwright who helped win Felix A. Pire an Outer Critic's Circle Award for his turn in Men on the Verge of a His-Panic Breakdown comes a new play with a little Latin flavor. Making its world premiere Off-Broadway at the Miranda Theatre space Nov. 21-Dec. 17, Urban Stages presents Guillermo Reyes' Mother Lolita.

In today's Los Angeles, this comedy takes place in a volatile apartment complex. Murder, music and redemption all swirl into the plot that surrounds the sexy Latina focal point, Lola.

The cast of Lolita features Piter Fattouche, Rana Kazkaz, Carlos Molina, Debora Rabbai, Caesar Samayoa, Matt Skollar, and Brigitte Viellieu-Davis as the sultry siren-title character.

Urban Stages producing director T.L. Reilly takes the helm of the production team as director. Set and lighting design is handled by Roman Tatrowicz, costume design by Marcus Henry, and sound design by Mark Gwinn.

For tickets to the show, playing at the Miranda space at 259 West 30th St. (between 7th and 8th Ave.), call the box office at (212) 755-0541. You can also visit the show's website at www.motherlolita.com or the Urban Stages homepage. < Hernandez
