News Hit Fringe Show to Be Part of New York Musical Theatre Festival; Is Off-Broadway Next? How to Save the World and Find True Love in 90 Minutes received such great notices during its recent run in the New York International Fringe Festival that it will now play two additional performances during the New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Starring former Zanna, Don't! actress Anika Larsen, How to Save the World will offer shows Sept. 22 and 24 at 1 PM at the 47th Street Theatre. There is also talk of a possible Off-Broadway run later this year. With book and lyrics by Jonathan Karp and music by Seth Weinstein, How to Save the World also features Michael McEachran, Nicole Ruth Snelson, Trent Armand Kendall, Dorrey Lin Lyles and Rob Sapp. David H. Bell directs the original musical comedy, which answers the question, "What happens when an office romance becomes a global crisis?" The 90-minute musical is presented without an intermission.

Anika Larsen starred Off-Broadway in Zanna, Don't! She also appeared on Broadway in Rent as well as in that show's national tour.

The 47th Street Theatre is located at 304 West 47th Street. Tickets, priced at $15, are available by calling (212) 352-3101. For more information, visit www.nymf.org.
