The Costa Mesa, California company's 42nd season will perform at the Segerstrom Stage and Julianne Argyros Stage. Seven productions, with two yet to be announced, will fill the new lineup as well as Theatre for Young Audiences runs of Jon Klein and Chris Jeffries' Bunnicula (Nov. 4- 20), Quincy Long and Michael Silversher's The Adventures of Por Quinly (Feb. 10-26, 2006) and John Glore's The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales (June 9-25, 2006). And the holidays will see the traditional A Christmas Carol (Nov. 26-Dec. 24) and La Posada Mágica by Octavio Solis, music by Marcos Loya (Dec. 9-24).

Kate Whoriskey directs the work which finds a servant who is left with a child when her mistress flees the oncoming revolution. The custody of the child comes into play in the work penned by Brecht in the aftermath of World War II.
Martin Benson stages the American Premiere of the new comedy about a vain, greedy but endearing television celebrity whose show is flailing—as is his personal life when two private bankers devise a plan to make him the toast of the banquet circuit.
Warner Shook directs this pygmalion-like story about a corrupt business tycoon who hires a tutor to educate his dim-witted girlfriend on high society ways.
The scribe directs his own work for its American premiere which is expected to reach Broadway. The play interweaves the stories of a lecturer and his student uncovering lost Hitchcock footage from an unknown film in a Greek villa with the story of Hitchcock himself working with Janet Leigh's body double on the movie "Psycho."
Film director William Friedkin ("The Exorcist" and "The French Connection") stages the west coast premiere of the 2004 Pulitzer Prize finalist which centers on a Midwestern insurance salesman who awakes one day to find he no longer believes in God.
SCR commissioned this world premiere which follows an African-American woman who wants to step outside of her upper middle class existence.
