An all-star cast to be announced will be part of the musical, which concerns "a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant [who] concoct a get-rich scheme to bilk their investors out of millions by producing the most notorious flop in history."

The upcoming Hollywood Bowl season will kick off June 22 with the annual Hall of Fame concert and gala. Inductees into the Hall of Fame have yet to be announced.

The annual Fireworks Spectacular will be offered July 2-4 at 7:30 PM. The evenings will feature special guest Barry Manilow, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, patriotic music and, of course, fireworks.

A Prairie Home Companion With Garrison Keillor is scheduled for July 13 at 8 PM. The celebrated American humorist will host his famed radio show at the Hollywood Bowl. An Evening with Liza Minnelli, featuring the icon of stage and screen, will be presented Aug. 11.

A "Grease" Sing-A-Long, which features pre-show festivities and a screening of the hit film on the Bowl’s big screen, will be presented July 14 at 8:30 PM. And, the popular Sing-A-Long Sound of Music will return to the giant screen Sept. 22 at 7 PM.
