Miller is the founder and music director of the New Professionals Orchestra in London. She studied at Oberlin Conservatory, the Northwestern University School of Music, and the Royal College of Music, and has served as an assistant to Leon Botstein at the Jerusalem Symphony and the Bard Festival.

Miller said, "The Fellows Program provides the invaluable opportunity to work full-time with a prestigious orchestra, to gain experience in education work, and to learn the inner workings of a large symphony orchestra both on and off the podium."
