Two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster appeared on Good Morning America ahead of the June 1 release of her new solo album June 1 and the June 5 premiere of Younger's fifth season.

Her album, Take Me to the World, was inspired by her newest role: mom. (Browse the track list here.) “It's been a long time in the making and totally inspired by becoming a mom. Everything I say and do is different now; this is all for her,” Foster said.

“There's a lullaby on there... The very first time I played it for my daughter, she looked at the speaker and looked at me, and she crawled into my lap and put her forehead against my forehead.

“I don't know that she realizes Mommy's voice comes from the speaker,” Foster said with a laugh. She and husband Ted Griffin adopted their daughter, Emily, last year. Becoming a mom has also inspired a new hobby for Foster: crocheting baby blankets. “My New Year’s resolution was to make ten in a year, [and] at the end of the year I'm going to auction them off for [an adoption] charity.”

Keeping her busy is Season 5 of Younger, the hit show by Sex and the City creator Darren Starr about a 40-something who pretends to be 20-something in order to land a job at a publishing house. The past four seasons have seen the secret get out to more and more people, but who will be the next to know?
