Directed by Ted Sod, the production will officially open Oct. 9. Italian Daughter, according to press notes, is a "funny and touching look at mothers and daughters, centering on the relationship between an immigrant Italian mother and her Americanized daughter."
LaVecchia, who wrote and stars in the show, was seen last year Off-Broadway opposite Emmy winner Daniel J. Travanti in A Touch of the Poet.
Cherry Lane's Studio Theatre is located in Manhattan at 38 Commerce Street. Ticket information will be announced shortly.
