News Hugh Jackman Will Talk Broadway's The River With Jimmy Fallon Tonight Hugh Jackman (The Boy From Oz) – returning to Broadway next month in Jez Butterworth's new play The River directed by Ian Rickson – will be a guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” this evening, Sept. 10.

“The Tonight Show” will air on NBC at 11:35 PM/10:35 PM Central. Check local listings for details.

Sonia Friedman Productions will present the Royal Court Theatre production of The River, starring Jackman, Laura Donnelly and Cush Jumbo.

Previews will begin Oct. 31.The production will open Nov. 16 on Broadway at the Circle in the Square Theatre and will run through Jan. 25, 2015.

Here's how the production is billed, "A remote fishing cabin, a man and a woman, and a moonless night. Jez Butterworth’s The River asks when we find each other, are we trying to recapture someone we once lost? The writer director team who brought you Jerusalem returns with a bewitching new story."
