News Human Race/Victoria Loft Series in Dayton Will Include Seussical, Copenhagen, Delicate Balance in 2005-06 The 2005-06 season of Humana Loft Series in Dayton, Ohio, will include The Nerd by Larry Shue, Copenhagen by Michael Frayn, Seussical by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, Shakespeare's The Tempest and Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, plus a visit by the world tour of the cutting-edge musical ensemble Toxic Audio.

Victoria Theatre Association and The Human Race Theatre Company announced the season lineup, now in its ninth year. Six shows on The Loft Theatre stage are scheduled in two separate series.

Series 1 shows are co-presented by Victoria Theatre Association and The Human Race Theatre Company. Series 2 shows are presented by The Human Race Theatre Company.

"The 2005-2006 season is another example of the great theatre that can be produced in the flexible space offered by The Loft," said Victoria Theatre Association interim president Dione Kennedy. "Months of meetings have finally culminated in another fantastic lineup. We enjoy the collaborative process and the excitement that comes from working with our colleagues at The Human Race."

"The diversity of chosen productions creates a six-show spectrum that will keep audiences buzzing all season long," said Human Race artistic director Marsha Hanna.

The Nerd plays Sept. 15-Oct. 2, Michael Frayn's Copenhagen plays Oct. 20-Nov. 6, Seussical plays Dec. 1-18, The Tempest plays Feb. 2-19, 2006, A Delicate Balance plays March 23-April 9, 2006, Toxic Audio performs June 6-25, 2006.
