Vineyard Voices is described as "panels by theater professionals from The Vineyard," according to an announcement. The series "offers an opportunity for audiences and artists to go behind-the-scenes and hear theatre professionals share insightful and colorful anecdotes about working in the theatre and creating for the stage and beyond."

The schedule for Vineyard Voices follows (all take place at 7 PM):

  • Developing A Musical - April 12
The team behind The Burnt Part Boys (Mariana Elder, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen), David Thompson (The Scottsboro Boys, Steel Pier), Hunter Bell ([title of show]) and Robin Goldwasser & Julia Greenberg (People Are Wrong) will chat on the topic: How does a musical get to the stage?
  • The TV/Theatre Connection - May 10
Guests (TBA) will discuss "the relationship between writing, producing and acting in television and theatre."
  • Albee & Eno - June 7
Playwright Edward Albee in conversation with playwright Will Eno. Further details TBA. The Vineyard currently presents The Scottsboro Boys, a new musical by John Kander and Fred Ebb, with book by David Thompson. Susan Stroman directs and choreographs the show that plays through April 18. Next, the troupe will team with Playwrights Horizons for a co-production of The Burnt Part Boys Off-Broadway (April 30-June 13).
