Swenson (Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Hair 110 in the Shade) will play Dr. Frank-N-Furter alongside a cast that also includes The Skivvies band members and actors Nick Cearley (All Shook Up national tour) as Brad and Lauren Molina (Sweeney Todd) as Janet with Jennifer Cody (Shrek, Urinetown) as Columbia.

"We are thrilled that this all-star Broadway cast and creative team is as excited as we are to bring this New Hope tradition back to the Playhouse," said BCP producing director Jed Bernstein in a statement.

Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Lorin Latarro, who was the associate choreographer on Broadway's Hand on a Hardbody and choreographer of Scandalous, will choreograph.

The Rocky Horror Show, with book, music, and lyrics by O'Brien, is "a musical that inspired the 1975 classic cult film, 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show,'" according to press notes. "It follows innocent couple Brad and Janet as they seek shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night, where they encounter transvestite Dr. Frank N Furter, his 'perfect' creation Rocky, and an assortment of other crazy creatures."

Performances will continue through Nov. 2 with select special late-night showings.

The Bucks County Playhouse is located at 70 South Main Street in New Hope, PA. For more information and tickets, call (215) 862-2121 or visit BCPTheater.org.
