Inspired by the collected memoirs of Josephine Sarah Marcus Earp, which were edited by Glenn G. Boyer, the musical has a book by Thomas Edward West and Sheilah Rae, lyrics by Rae and music by Michele Brourman.

A co-production between the Prospect Theater Company and New York Theatre Barn, I Married Wyatt Earp is directed by Cara Reichel for a run through June 12. Joe Barros is choreographer.

Mignini (Tintypes, Fiddler on the Roof) stars as Josephine Marcus Earp with MacRae (Hair, Falsettos, A Catered Affair) as Allie Earp and Barzee (Urinetown, Jekyll & Hyde, Miss Saigon) as Mattie Earp. The cast also features Mishaela Faucher (Once Upon a Time in New Jersey) as young Josie Marcus, Stephanie Palumbo as Young Allie and Carol Linnea Johnson (Mamma Mia!, The Full Monty) as Bess Earp.

Completing the cast are Cara Massey (Legally Blonde), Ariela Morgenstern (Adding Machine), Karla Mosley (Expatriate), Tina Stafford (Illyria) and Erin Wilhelmi.
