News Idina Menzel Plays Wolf Trap July 17; New Tour Date Added An Evening with Idina Menzel and Marvin Hamlisch will be presented July 17 at 8:15 PM at Wolf Trap in Virginia. Tony winner Hamlisch will conduct the National Symphony Orchestra. Menzel will offer classic pop and musical theatre favorites as well as songs from her album "I Stand."

A new tour date has also been announced for Tony Award winner Menzel, who recently flew into the Golden Globe-winning series "Glee." Newly added to the singing actresses' itinerary is a Nov. 12 concert with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra at Atlanta Symphony Hall.

July 31 in Bethel, NY at Bethel Woods Center For The Arts
Aug. 1 in Hyannis, MA at Pops by the Sea
Oct. 2 in Brookville, NY at the Tilles Center
Oct. 12 in Red Bank, NJ at the Count Basie Theatre
Sept. 24-26 in Cincinnati, OH at Cincinnati Music Hall
Nov. 5 in Denver, CO at Boettcher Concert Hall
Nov. 7 at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa, CA
Nov. 19 in Minneapolis, MN at Orchestra Hall
Dec. 17 in West Palm Beach, FL at the West Palm Beach Kravis Center

Menzel won a Tony Award for Leading Actress in a Musical for her work as Elphaba in Wicked; she also opened the London production of that hit musical. Menzel created the role of Maureen in the original Broadway company of Rent, and her other theatrical credits include the City Center Encores! production of Hair, Manhattan Theatre Club's The Wild Party, the Public Theater's See What I Wanna See and the benefit Funny Girl concert. Menzel's film credits include "Ask the Dust," "Rent" and "Enchanted."
