Chicago's Neo-Futurists continue their "Neo Mondo Solo" performance series with the world premiere of David Kodeski's True Life Tales: Another Lousy Day, March 19-April 24.

Author-performer Kodeski discovered a pair of diaries in a thrift shop, dating back to 1960 and 1961. They detailed the everyday life of a 29 year-old Chicago woman employed at the Zenith television plant: her loves, nights at the movies, and the experience of watching the first color television sets roll over the assembly line.

Like Kodeski's previous piece, David Kodeski's True Life Tales: Doris, Kodeski explores the idea that there is nothing ordinary about the everyday lives of others.

Kodeski's been a member of the Futurists since 1993, performing in numerous productions including: True Dreams of Annie Arbor, and the Futurists' signature show, Too Much Light Make the Baby Go Blind.
