Directed by E. Dale Smith with musical direction by David Wayne Fox, the cast will feature drag celebrity Mimi Imfurst as well as Lavell Blackwell, Wilber Escobar and Megan Gilliland.

Rhoda Heartbreak features book and lyrics by E. Dale Smith and music by David Wayne Fox. The musical, according to press notes, is described as such: "Combining drag performance genres with traditional musical theatre structures, the production provides an in-depth perspective of what lies behind the lipstick in this world of glamour and pretense. Behind the scenes of Vestments Drag Bar in the West Village, Rhoda Heartbreak reigns supreme. But everything changes when one of her fellow queens calls out sick and is replaced by Jennifer Sloan — an exuberant, talented biological woman. With four queens, can you spot the real bitch?"

Manhattan Repertory Theatre artistic director Ken Wolf produces in collaboration with Posh Bar, NYC.

Show time each night is 9 PM.

Manhattan Repertory Theatre is located at 303 W. 42nd Street, 3rd Floor. For tickets, priced $20, call (646) 329-6588.
