Jennifer Cody, who opened on Broadway in the role of Little Becky Two Shoes in Urinetown when original Off-Broadway cast member Megan Lawrence was on maternity leave, exited Jan. 13 when Lawrence returned.

But Cody got back in the swim of the show Jan. 28, on short notice, to take over for Rachel Coloff, who sprained an ankle. Cody learned Coloff's role of Soupy Sue in a matter of hours and went on the same evening. Cody is expected to play the role of Soupy Sue for the next six to eight weeks, while Coloff recovers, according to a statement.

Cody's in good company (or, "Urine Good Company," as they say in the show): Her husband, Hunter Foster, plays the musical comedy's hero, Bobby Strong.

Original cast member Daniel Marcus, who broke his ankle while leaving the stage following a performance last year, will return to his role of Officer Barrel Feb 18. Bill Buell, who assumed the role of Officer Barrel, will play his last performance Feb 17.

Urinetown plays at The Henry Miller. Performances are 8 PM Monday, Wednesday through Friday, 2 PM and 8 PM Saturday, and 3 PM and 7:30 PM Sunday. For ticket information, call (212) 239-6200.
