The street dance "urban fairytale" will open March 26 following previews that begin March 14.

Directed and choreographed by Kate Prince, the show features music form a long list of pop/rock artists, including Gorillaz, Massive Attack, Prince, Basement Jaxx, Stevie Wonder, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Janet Jackson, James Brown, Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Black Eyed Peas, Bob Marley and The Chemical Brothers.

Adapting the story for a generation more used to concrete jungles than leafier kinds, the story follows two lost children befriended and exploited by an evil landlord. During their adventure they encounter urban trophies such as gold sneakers, a red hoodie (owned by Lil Red) and the finest quality long-weave hair extensions in the city, made by Rap-on-Zeal. There is also Jaxx, owner of a white i-pod.

ZooNation is known for their work in motivating young people through hip hop and street dance. Joining the company on stage as a nightly warm up act will be comedy rap poet Mister Gee.
