News "Into the Woods" Soundtrack Breaks Top 20 on Billboard 200 The soundtrack to the film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Into the Woods has broke the top 20 on the Billboard 200.

The film's soundtrack, in its second week on the charts, currently ranks at No. 19. The "Frozen" soundtrack stands at No. 11 (during its 57th week), and Taylor Swift's "1989" remains No. 1. For the complete list, click here.

As previously reported, the Rob Marshall-directed film has become the biggest launch of a Broadway adaptation since "Mamma Mia!" ($27.8 million). 

The soundtrack for the film is currently ranked No. 7 on the iTunes Top Albums chart with the deluxe edition at No. 17. The soundtrack for "Annie" is ranked at No. 12.

In its first weekend, "Into the Woods" was seen by four times the amount of people than those who saw both Broadway runs combined.
